To submit/upgrade to a featured event, please email ads@washingtoncitypaper.com. Featured events cost $50, include up to three photos, being highlighted in the events listings, and being featured on the calendar for the entire time it is online.

Events should be submitted at least 7 calendar days before they occur.

Please include a title, description, time, date, and price, and try to limit descriptions to four sentences. If you submit an image to be included with your listing, you must have permission to use that image. By submitting an image with your listing, you confirm you have permission to use that image.

For events which take place in person or at a specific location, please use the "event venue" field. For virtual events, please use the "event organizer" field.

Music listings must include: Band's name, Venue, Time of performance, Cover price

Visual art listings must include: Artist's name, description of their work, Gallery/ Location and Gallery Hours, Opening Reception hours, if applicable, Run Dates of the exhibit (i.e. June 15 -July 23)

All other listings must include: Name of the production/event, Location, Performance/event hours, Admission prices, Description of the event.

We are unable to accept any happy hours as events. All submissions must be approved by us before being published.
